Are You Investing Enough Time To Build Your MLM Business?
By Michael S. Clouse
Where does all the time go? It's sometimes hard to believe that in 1984 - because I wanted more out of life than just a paycheck - I took a look at Network Marketing. And yes, things were a bit different back then when we had to walk, up hill both ways, to each and every opportunity meeting held at the local Holiday Inn...
Okay, so maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but seriously building a business in 1984 was different. Back in the dark ages we didn't have mobile phones, text messaging, personal computers, or the Internet… And because Email, Websites, Facebook, and Twitter couldn't exist without the Internet, the most common way to communicate the benefits of starting your own part-time MLM business was, belly-to-belly, one person at a time!
But as singer song-writer Billy Joel once put it, way back in 1983, "The good old days weren't always good, and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems." It’s true… Because the best time to build your MLM income is really, now! So here's my question: With all the craziness life throws at us, are you investing enough time to build your MLM business?
I was curious, so a few weeks ago I polled a few hundred people who were all attempting to build their own MLM businesses by asking, "How many hours per week do you actually work your MLM business?" And in case you're interested - and you should be - here's what we've learned (or been reminded of) so far:
17% work less than 5 hours per week
26% work between 5 to 10 hours per week
20% work between 10 to 15 hours per week
15% work between 15 to 20 hours per week
22% work over 20 hours per week
So, what do those numbers mean? Well, even with all the technology we now have at our fingertips, at lease 17% of us aren't doing enough to accomplish much of anything in this profession! And a fair portion of the 26% may also be a bit too lax when it comes to their business-building activity.
So what about you? Are you investing enough time each week to create the success you really want? If you feel like you need more time, or are just wonder where it all goes, pondering over the the information contained in this article may help: Overcome The "No-Time" Syndrome.
Because today millions of Network Marketing distributors are building successful businesses in their spare time. Just make sure you're consistently investing at least eight to ten hours per week in revenue producing activity (prospecting, presenting, and duplicating), and over time and you can too!
All the best,
MSC
